Thanks for making our vacation so much fun. You're a wonderful laid back tour guide with all the info but you knew just what we needed. San Miguel is a lovely place. Would be fun to come back...perhaps one of these days we'll plan another trip. If you're in the Atlanta area...I have an extra bedroom.
Take care & again, many thanks.
S.J., Marietta, Ga
Thanks so much for the tour Saturday! Not only were you knowledgeable and helpful but a wonderful host as well. And perhaps more importantly we really liked you as a person. As a result we've all become intensely interested in learning more about Mexican history and culture and, of course, in returning to San Miguel.
Mucias Gracias,
M. and D. H., Grass Valley, Ca
Helene, Thanks so much for sending the photo. We also had a great time and really appreciated your good humor, energy and personal attention not to mention the extra trip to Mega. (We got all our Christmas shopping done and were able to bring the big candles and candleholders home safely and under the airlines weight restriction so thank you very much for that little detour!) We have mentioned your service to several people. Well see who shows up in San Miguel. Happy holidays hope theyre wonderful, We hope to come back before too long,
P.S and D. P., Seattle, Wa.
Helene is not just a fabulous guide, but just one of the most captivating women I have ever met. Quietly so intelligent and intuitive, you almost don't have to tell her anything... she senses it. All of that and she is just so likeable. All of my guests have also been enthralled. After the first tour, we arrived back to a late "Concha" dinner and immediately felt... like someone was missing. Helene just seemed to belong there too! That's how complelely she made us feel so comfortable and befriended.A. and E. V., Oakwood, Ill
Helene...just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed your tours and, especially, getting to know you. You do a great job and make things so interesting and fun. Looking forward to getting back down there and I will pass your name on to all I know on their way there. Thanks so much,
L. and M. Y., Atlanta, Ga.
"We received the photos that you mailed us. Thank you so much! We had so much fun touring with you. The picture of us shopping for opals with Martha and Claudia is such fun. We had such a terrific time with you and we're still talking about San Miguel".

"Hola Helene!
I have been meaning to write to you since I returned to Banff... It has been over a week since our return and I am still dreaming of lovely San Miguel. I WILL find a way to return there soon. K. and I truly want to experience Day of the Dead with you!
Thank you so much for making my trip to San Miguel so memorable. You are a wonderful guide, I could not have asked for more. From the transportation to the food to the info to the sights, you did a great job! I want to go on all of your tours! It was great fun.
I will be posting my images from the trip in the coming weeks. I will let you know where and when. I will be sure to keep in touch...
Muchas Gracias, Helene!

"Thanks again for the wonderful trips. Your patience with the kids was great and we were touched by your effort to bring us the picture (framed no less), before we left. We took your advice about the shipper and they packed our ceramics to go on the plane for much less than to be shipped to D.C. Their packing job was amazing and there wasn't a scratch on anything".

"Jim and I wanted to thank you so much for your great tours in San Miguel, Dolores Hidalgo and Guanajuato. You really make the history come alive and added so much to our time there, plus your great shopping and restaurant selections. We hope to make another trip back this winter and will certainly get in touch with you".
M. and J LeR, Rockport, Tx
"I wanted to thank you for your part in our memorable and fun trip to Guadalajara. Everything I bought will be in my wardrobe for years. It would be worth the trip next year just to get to go shopping with you again. Thank you again for being an invaluable part of our experience there and in San Miguel".

"Thanks for making San Miguel come alive for our group of California travelers. You may be sure that we will be in touch when we plan a return expedition. I particularly enjoyed the hike out and through the nature preserve. We all send you our best regards".

"I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed touring with you during our recent visit to San Miguel. Both the walking tour of San Miguel and the day in Guanajuato were terrific! We are very glad that we had the good fortune to find you...you certainly contributed to the success of our trip! We hope to work with you again on a return visit to San Miguel".
E. and C. F., Dallas, Tx.
"Once again my friends came back raving about San Miguel and...you! Thank you for taking good care of S and R - they had an incredible time".
R.G., Houston, Tx.
"We wanted to thank you, not only for the nice photo, but also for making the trip so special. We all appreciated your incredibly personal attention to our admittedly crazy penchant for eating everything in sight. You absolutely made our trip. It would not have been nearly the experience it was with you".
D. and P. M, San Antonio, Tx
"You were right about the shipper. I've never received pottery so securely wrapped. We look back on our week in San Miguel with great joy. Our thanks for the big part you played in our fun. Take care and eat something wonderful for us".
E. and J. T, Houston, Tx.
"J and I wanted to thank you again for helping us understand something more about Mexican art and culture. We loved every minute of our day and a half with you. We are already thinking about next year".
H. and J. C., New Haven, Conn.
"Thanks again for the tour last week. A and I had a wonderful time in San Miguel and your tour was an excellent way to begin our stay. I will happily advise our friends traveling to San Miguel to look you up".

"This is a much-belated thank you for such a wonderful day in Guanajuato. For the rest of our time in San Miguel our traveling companions kept telling me it was the best day of the whole vacation.
We have written to AHI International (Alumni Holidays) with our suggestions for a College Abroad trip. In that letter we highly recommended that they contact you, possibly using you as their local representative or as a consultant in planning such an alumni experience".
H. and B. R, Santa Ana, Ca.
"We hope you remember who we are...you took us to Guanajuato for the day and then had us over to your house for drinks before we went to dinner. It was Easter and you took us on the tour of the churches and the room that only opens up once a year and had those oranges all over the place. You were so wonderful. I talked and talked about you to friends and then I couldn't tell them how to find you. I guess that you are so famous down there that you don't need any help anyway. You made our trip so great".
DSM and WRE, Austin, Tx.
"I want to thank you again for your many kindnesses to family, friends and myself. You made the difference between a good trip and a great trip! I will always remember how special you made it for me".
D.G., Triangley, Va.
Thank you for making our 1st (hopefully-probably not our last) trip to San Miguel even more enjoyable. The tours, insights, history and your company were so memorable. Salute! Best regards and hope to you on our next visit to S.M. K.M. and G.G.,
Portland, Or.
"Thank you so much for all the time (and trouble) you spent with W and me. We had a ball! Loved the food, the city and had so much fun with you. You made our trip successful. Got all of our slides and film back...still going over everything and all of it looks wonderful. Yolanda really turned out nice. There is one of her on the brick steps...light is perfect in her eyes and the flowers look good too. What a sweet dog! Thank you for sharing her with us".

"G and I really enjoyed your tours in San Miguel and Guanajuato when we were there last week. Thanks for infusing us with so many interesting details about the history, art, architecture and culture of the areas. We had a lot of fun getting to know you and will certainly recommend you to anyone going in your direction. Again, thanks for your input and company".
D. and G. H., Covington, La.
"Thank you for making our trip so wonderful. We enjoyed you so very much and felt we had been friends forever. I do hope our paths will cross again".
D.G., Tyler, Tx.
"It was such a pleasure to have met you in San Miguel. It was truly our good fortune to have responded to your brochure in our hotel. There are tours and there are guides...you are in a different class altogether. With much professionalism and grace, you listened to the majority voice and directed us to very special places too numerous to list. I enjoyed my time in your company enormously. Should you ever venture to Houston please allow me the opportunity to show you this "foreign country"...and to a simple girl from Georgia, it is very much "foreign". Thank you again for such a special opportunity".
R.R.C., Houston, Tex.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for your great tours and above-and-beyond service during our trip to Mexico. We had such a great time and were glad to get to know you a little. We're planning to see you again!"
C. and J. O, Oak Park, Ill.
Thanks for your note. Obviously, my brother and I had a great time, too! We've been thinking about when we can return on a weekend to see Mexico City with you and hit the flea markets. We were hoping next spring, but we'll keep you posted. You really opened our eyes to Mexico. Nothing can be compared to traveling with somebody who loves a place and knows it inside and out.
